The CRCEF and the Fa-Yi Chong-De Charity Foundation co-host a banquet to give warmth, care and concern during the harsh winter period.


For Chinese culture, eating at a year-end banquet at the end of the Chinese lunar calendar is a traditional custom. The Chong-Ren Cultural and Educational Foundation and the Fa-I-Chong-Der Charity Foundation in combination with the sponsorship from some enterprises co-host a year-end banquet to give love for those in need. At the year-end banquet, there are 3000 attendees from Taichung City who are the socially disadvantaged and from minority group and who joined it in a festive mood.




Based on the ideas of the founding president of the CRCEF, Madam Chen, Hung-jen, the Chong-Ren Cultural and Educational Foundation (CRCEF) keeps promoting public welfare.

Farewell to the Year of Rabbit, and welcome the advent of the Year of Dragon. Chinese traditional culture places great emphasis on the annual festival. Prior to the Chinese Lunar New Year, the CRCEF invites the socially disadvantaged minority group and individuals, single-parent families, hearing impaired families, the elder who live alone and are from the Nursing Homes, orphans from the orphanages, and school children from the remote areas, to join the year-end banquet in Taichung City.

Taichung City Mayor Jason Hu comes to the party as well. In recognition of the spirit of the founding president of the CRCEF, Madam Chen, Hung-jen, who practiced Love our elders and love others, care for our own children and care for others, Mayor Jason Hu awards gratitude certificates to the foundation and the enterprises for their feedback to the society.


Due to the fact that the CRCEF constantly promotes vegetarianism and environmental protection, the meals offered on the 300 tables at the banquet are all vegetarian, letting the socially disadvantaged minority group experience a much more meaningful festival.


Enterprises demonstrate love, and volunteers perform with enthusiasm, reserving for happiness altogether.

At the banquet, special gratitude is given to Taichung City Councilor Huang, Shin-Huei, Taichung City Councilor Lin, Pei-han, Pu-an Development Co.(普安開發股份有限公司), Lotes Development Co., Ltd (佳聯蘿雅蒂詩國際開發股份有限公司), Tuck-More Biotechnology Co., Ltd (桐核麥生物科技股份有限公司) , just to name a few, that sponsor the activity and that illustrate their unconditional love. Hundreds of volunteers from the central part of Taiwan bring some shows to the event, such as guitar duet, singing and dancing, chorus, etc.

The shows revolve around cheering, being thankful, and helping others. The volunteers wish that they would bring the blessings of the Tao Society to all of the VIPs and participants by serving as one part of the assisting force of the one-thousand-hand-and-one-thousand-eye Bodhisattva. During the activity, Blessing performance is arranged. Also, the donation organization gives blessing bags and donation money on food to the social welfare organizations in anticipation for the fact that people will work on together transmitting love to others and that everyone can expect a year full of blessings.
