@carlvincent12 Only the B747-400 of Lufthansa has a bed and a seat in first class, i don´t know any other airline with this config.

@VibrationPak Thanks for the info. IIRC, the 748 is still more premium heavy. 30% of the seats on 748 will be premium, whereas A380 is at ~20%. Just goes to show how much more flexible the A380 is.

a380 is the new flagship

747 8i will NOT be equipped with this F class product, it will get the same F class as the A380 has (and it will be located in the nose of the plane) only without the big bathrooms

further the a380 will also be retrofitted with the new business class seats

this F class you see here in the video is only for the 747 400

basically it is the old seat, just completely revamped

its a fantastic concept, and with a few tweaks to the seat design and layout, it would be the most formidable first class layout in the sky.

@carlvincent12 747-8i is going to be Lufthansa's flagship! They're marketing it as a premium product! Moreso than the A380.

@carlvincent12 It'd be hard for the A380 to have this feature. IIRC, it's a little wider up top. That means that where a 1x1 config works perfectly with the 747s, space is wasted with the A380.
