@andreasdrg They maybe unfortunately but very probably will, but in that case is does not make them right! Just like doing things that are normal may not be right, like stealing, lying and so forth. Now you may ask or state that stealing and so on is not normal, but that would in fact not be true because everyone has lied and probably everyone in the western civilisation have stolen something, which would make lying, stealing and so on normal. The thing that messes with me the most is the fact that people with this mind set actually WANT to die. And they want everyone they love to die too. If there is a huge catastrophe then the bible is true! Why is this a good thing!? Why would God allow such a terrible happening? Whatever happened to him being benevolent??

@HallonTaton I sit at night thinking the same thing. I don't want to live forever for selfish reasons. I was to see humanity grow up and look back at their silly little history. A time long, long ago when we would shoot each other in the face over the stupidest reasons.

@HallonTaton People of reason need to fight back or these nut jobs will destroy civilization. I stay angry enough to contribute to atheist organizations and others, like the Texas Freedom Network. I live on the island of Kauai and contributed to Equality Hawaii. We now have civil unions, a Democratic governor, and a overwhelming blue state legislature. Governor Lingle (R) had vetoed it. I'm also a democratic socialist, and believe that Monopoly Capitalism and religion are the 2 biggest threats.

I'm not even angry at fundamentalists anymore... I just feel pity. I just wish I could live to see the day when humanity will grow up out of iron age campfire stories.
