This is the CSX Office Car Special in Louisville, KY for the Ryder Cup Golf Tournament.
This is an unusually long OCS train. It's much longer than the one that was here for the Derby. It features cars from CSX, BNSF, and IC.
Power is the usual F40s 9993 and 9992.
Recorded at the Frankfort Avenue crossing on the CSX LCL Subdivision on 9/15/2008.
Thanks to my brother David Harpe for this excellent video!
I wish we had trains like this visiting Florida. We had a slew of special trains and excursions back in the early 80s under the Seaboard Coast Line flag. All that vaporized after CSX was formed. With the liability issues, it's understandable, but then, the other Class 1 roads still welcome fan trips.

Hey Reed, this is David from Paris, TN. I didn't know you had a you tube site. Why haven't you posted any videos of the Henderson sub?

The IC and BNSF trains came in via the Texas Line from Evansville while the CSX train came up the Main Line Sub from Nashville. They put them together at Osborn Yard in Louisville. Also, R.J. Corman is supposedly going to be running his train in from Lexington.
