Destruction at Apple Pie Hill, NJ Pine Barrens MVI 9676

One of the only places in the NJ Pine Barrens where you can get a commanding view of the Pinelands National Reserve. This are is a state fire lookout tower but the area is being destroyed and abused with trash and graffiti. Although the tower is often manned and used regularly the state makes no effort to prevent the problems or maintain the area.

Look me and the group of people that 4wheel up the take no part in distruction and we do trail clean UPS when ever we can yes there is people that just look to damadge everything but u can't blame all of us and most of the damadge is done by punk kids

Used to love taking our family to Apple Pie Hill to see the beautiful views of the Pine Barrens. Unfortunately, the entrance road is now blocked off and there are No Trespassing signs everywhere. It's a shame the actions of vandals looking for their form of destructive "fun" had to ruin it for the rest of us who saw this place for its true beauty.

If the state wants to they can stop these problems but they make no effort. These kids are probably there Friday night thru Sunday so the time frame is not that large. Couple of stops and fines and it will end. Good warning sign at the entrance would help too. It is a perfect spot for a remote camera as well.
