Ittō-ryū (一刀流 ?), meaning "one-sword school", is the ancestor school of several Japanese koryu kenjutsu styles, including Ono-ha, Mizoguchi-ha, Nakanishi-ha, Kogen, Hokushin, and Itto Shoden. The style was developed by Ittōsai Kagehisa.

@PredatorWolf1 Ok let me explain why i disagreed with your first comment, Itto ryu isn't a style of "Kendo kendo", it's a koryu/old shool, and what we see in that video are two "Kendo kendo" hachidan sensei engaging in "Kendo kendo" shiai, nothing to do with Itto ryu. To put it simply your first comment can easilly mislead those that don't know what "Kendo kendo" is :)

@PredatorWolf1 Enlighten me because i don't understand what you mean by styles if you include the Itto ryu in the "styles" of kendo.

@PredatorWolf1 What do you mean many styles?! Are you saying kendo as in kenjutsu or are you just confused because it says Itto Ryu enbu on the title.
I practice kendo of course not at the level of the hachidan kendo sensei on the video, i'm pretty sure that's not Itto ryu though it had a great influence (Hokushin Itto ryu to be specific) on the formation of "Kendo" especially the nihon kendo kata.
