Milwaukee Road Dynamometer Car X-5000 Video

This video was presented at the 2007 Milwaukee Road Historical Ass'n Meeting in June 2007 in Elgin, IL. It is a brief intro of the Milwaukee Road Dynamometer car from it appearance in the Movie "Danger Lights" in 1930 to its donation to the Illinois Ry Museum in Union, IL in 1992.

I am not aware of any other items are left from 'Danger Lights' or not.

Off topic - but we are looking for folks to help with restoration. We just received a grant from MRHA to sanblast the roof.

I just saw this vid, and I remember meeting Warren at an EMD school in 1983 or 4 at La grange, just weeks before the milw closed its doors.

It's nice to know something from "Danger Lights" still exists, I have the old film on VHS video tape and thoroughly enjoy every time I see it. I was also wondering if any other artifacts from "Danger Lights" might also exists. Comments on my thoughts are indeed welcomed and appreciated.
