  • @bls4life8 trust me, you won't be disappointed if you see them. people shit all over duvall because he "isn't the same as layne," but that's fucking obvious because NO TWO PEOPLE ARE EXACTLY THE SAME. sure, duvall's voice is different than layne's but he's still a great fucking singer and the music still sounds like classic AIC. every singer has bad days, even layne, so it's unfair for people to make judgements about duvall based on a few videos they've seen on youtube

  • God i miss layne!!!

  • I like the new Chains. It is part of the sound....the harmonies are important to the metal that AIC makes. So, this is why Duvall is there. He's a good singer, even though he doesn't sound like Layne Staley.

Layne Staley was "down in a hole." The drug was saying "Oh, I want to be inside of you." He was the "man in the box," and even though he asked for someone "save me" I don't know if anyone could have saved him.

  • I saw AIC early 90's at First Avenue, they were the opening act for Extreme. Awesome show but Layne sang with his back to the crowd most of the time. Layne is dead and Duvall is not Layne but he is also a very competent singer of the AIC material. Nothing lasts forever.

  • william duvall is black chris cornell and you know that shits true

  • there is no chanse anymore for me to be in live like that :(

  • goddammit i was gunna go to this but then they said 18 and up only :(

  • @C6RLemans I remember back in 89 or 90 there was a tour called Clash of the Titans and I think it was Slayer who headlined...but this was in Lakeland, FL AIC opened the show. I remember Layne talking about some guy in the audience making crazy comments. Then he said this guy looks like he could suck the chrome off a trailer hitch etc. It was really hilarious stuff ..just having fun. Those were the days.

  • not the same without layne...

  • i love alice in chains and i wanna go to alice in chains in feb at roy wilkins but i dont wanna spend like 50 bucks and be dissapointed. were you dissapointed at any way at all with the show

  • Unfortunately he is, otherwise AIC would not have any chance to "survive".
