@Redbeardian Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Y2k was a computer glitch, not a cyclical event. It's not just the Mayans with a 2012 end date. There are many other indigenous civilizations with calendars and systems that all predate the bible with the same end date. If it were just the Mayans, I'd probably agree that the end date means the resetting of the calendar, but if you look at the cycles of time, then 2012 means something much greater.
