http://www.FullTiltLife.com and Kings of the Street present a highlight clip.

Question: are the speedo shots you see on internet videos actually accurate? Does that instrument cluster showing 200 mph actually mean 200 mph? Most speedos are wildly inaccurate. Some are dead on. We show you iron-clad proof that street bikes can easily run 200 mph - for REAL on the street in a very short space.

The yellow GPS shows a real time reading of the maximum speed as the video unfolds.

  • First off, what "redhot" said... Also, going 200+ on the street is done mostly for fun, and just because its awesome, and nothing else can go faster in a straight line than these bikes. If you don't think its fun, that's fine. You are entitled to your (lame) opinion. Oh and, lest we forget, Ben Spies just so happens to be from Texas...

  • As a lifelong rider who recently bought a Suzuki Bandit 1250S, a mildly-tuned sport tourer that isn't anywhere NEAR as fast as these bikes, I can tell you that safely moving up even to that bike took my full attention. Modern sport motorcycles are like jet fighters - you had better be ready to keep up with them, or they'll kill you.

  • This is completely legit. Hayabusa's were meant for top speed runs.

  • the commentator needs to shut the fuck up so I can hear the turbo valve

  • I'll be going 150 on my 04 R1 and the wind rapes me. I give you much respect for going over 200 mph
