I still have my sega genesis with the cartridges for all the Sonic Games. I stand by this: Sonic 2 has and will ALWAYS have the most agonizing Special Stages In the entire series.

it depends when you were born. Many of us grew up with this game on the sega genesis, so if you are younger and grew up on later systems like the playstation, then you wouldn't understand the true greatness of this game
