Best to use a sniper rifle and somewhere on this level is a thermascope that would allow you to see the regenerator's parasites on its body allowing you to kill them with ease and less use of ammo.

@noGravityLP hey man you should watch the movie that shows how to kill the regenerators with the knife. shoot the leg, let it jump twoards you then knife away till it goes boom.

Damn! I'm really fucked up on this mission - low ammo + shity weapons. No chance to kill spiky regenerator. I'm forced to restart the game...

There both great games, but 5 has the advantage on better graphics. Although 4 has a great story line and is scary and dimly lit. I know 5 took place in Africa, but it was far too sunny. On top of that the knife was much weaker than in 4, plus the knife fights weren't all that great in 5.
