I remember in 1973 at Ipswich Central Boy School whn we were all let out onto the sports ground to watch the first of the F-111s arrive. I can still picture it today. Later as I grew up a RAAF brat at Amberley I just lved the sleek lines. My joy was the chance to fly the simulator as an Air Cadet.

@legomaster335 I agree with you there. I'm sure they could've replaced the engines and avionics whilst keeping the same airframe and developed a very competent bomber.
