I am a Texan and was very young when this occurred. My girlfriend is a nurse and works at Mercy off the turnpike and invited me to OKC for New Year's. We went to dinner in the Paseo district and she took me to see the Memorial and I had never been so taken back, other than Ground Zero, in my life. God rest all the souls who perished where I stood a few short days ago.
