  • thats a good idea but wood is bad cause it rots and can ruin the plants!

  • The wood is treated and the box is lined with a liner. What should I have used instead of wood? BTW - The veggies are flourishing. I will be posting an updated vid soon.

  • That was a good idea, I think that I spent less than $30.00, and tomatos wouldnt fit in there I dont think... but I think it is a good idea for herbs!

  • I put tomatoes toward the back and now have a trellis for them to climb. The tomatoes may be a bit crowded but I can always build a smaller unit and transplant some. I have some herbs, tomatoes, beans and peppers in there. Cucumbers are in a seperate unit.

  • Sounds awesome! Have you had any trouble with bugs? Or bottom rot?

  • no and no knock on wood

  • What??? Who you got buried in there?

  • love it!

  • Well if you have it lined it should be just fine then! I guess as long as you have good water drainage it will probally work real good. I want to do something like this actually!! I use a lot of pots but I think this would be a lot more handy.

  • cool!
