Well it's July 23 2011 and figured it's time for another fruit and berry video. We've had an excellent growing year so far for them. I give very little attention to most of them so they are all basically wild. Even so, we normally get what we want to eat and let the wildlife enjoy the rest.
What kind of apples do you have?
Is that a grafted walnut? Graft a mature tree's scion onto a seedling rootstock and it will produce nuts about 5-10 years earlier.

@ProfKSE Here on this place they are mostly the old time varieties, Macintosh, Jonathon, golden/red delicious, nothing too exciting. They are just mostly for the deer anyhow. Thanks for the tip on the walnut. May have to get it a try and see what happens.
