Amsterdamse Gamelangroep plays Javanese Wayang Kulit + Java silent movie

In this video you'll hear the Amsterdamse Gamelangroep, in a performance in November 1991 at a gamelan festival in Bremen, Germany. The ensemble plays Javanese Wayang Kulit music. I was also a member of this group and in this recording I'm playing bonang.
The pieces - played without interruptions in between - are Ayak-Ayakan, Srepegan and Sampak. This music accompanies shadow play scenes just before and during heroic fights.
In this video I've combined the audio recording with segments taken from an early twenties SILENT MOVIE, showing some musical events on Java, including Wayang Kulit (shadow play).

As far as I can gather it's from or near Bantul, Central Java.
