I finally headed down stairs while trying to calm Jack down & answered the door.
"Aww did someone wake up too early from his sleep?" Nick said he toke Jack out of my hands, I love how close Nick was with Jack, that he was able to understand the little things about Jack. I smiled seeing Nick calming Jack down successfully, it was so heart warming seeing them together.
"Thanks Nick"
"No problem" Nick said as he looked at Jack, then he lifted his face up & it dropped.
"I know I look really bad"
"Where did you get that from?"
"You face expression & I just know I look bad" I said looking down at the dress & smoothing it out with my hands.
Nick lifted my head & said "Your look beautiful" he told me before kissing my forehead.
I smiled, he was so sweet, maybe it wouldn't be bad telling him about Jack. I looked at Nick was wearing, it was a nice smart black suit, with shine black shoes & nice bright white shirt "You look quite handsome yourself" I told him.
Nick smiled at me as well "Come on let's get going" he release one of his hands from Jack & toke hold of my hand as I stepped out of the house & closing the door behind me.
"So where we taking Jack?"
"No where far" He said & we walked to his house.
I laughed a little "Your parents then?"
"Nope" Nick said still smiling. We all walked inside his house & into his living room. He let go off my hand & walked over to a young lady who was sitting on the couch, she was pregnant i would say about 6 maybe 7 mouths gone "Dani here is Jack-Jack" Nick told her, she was smiling up at Nick as she toke him off Nick.
"Nick you are right he is adorable" Dani commented as she looked at Jack.
Nick walked back over to me & toke hold of hand again "Lena, this is my sister in law Dani. & Kevin should be around somewhere."
"Hi" I said to Dani.
Dani looked up to me "Hi Selena. You have such a cute little brother"
I smiled & said "Thank you. If you have any problems at all, just ring Nick"
Dani gave me a warm & calming smile "Will do. Theres nothing to worry about" This is the first time I am leaving Jack with someone, other than my mom, I thought I would be really nervous but Im actually not as nervous as I thought I would be. There something about Dani warm smile. I also met Kevin before me & Nick left for the dance.
The dance was in the school gym hall, but it didn't look anything the gym hall. There was loads of glittery streamers covering the walls, loud amazing music with flashing light. I felt right for once being at school dance. Nick left me to get us some drinks, while he was away I looked around at everybody. I was Demi wearing a very cute, small back dress & dancing with some guy who I haven't met yet. Then Joe caught my eye, he was sitting at the table all alone. He might of been a couple jerk, but I couldn't help but feel bad for him looking so helpless. I walked over to him & sat down on a chair next to him.
"What the stud doesn't have a date" I joke.
"Theres only one girl for me" He said as he placed his hand on my knee.
I initially move his hand off my knee, I cant believe Joe is doing this I was trying to b nice & this is what I get from this loser "Look Joe, I came here to be you friend but seriously you are such a jerk" I stood up& walked away from him. It wasn't long until I found Nick again.
"Fancy dancing?" He asked me as he took hold of my hand.
"Love to" I smiled as he dragged me into the middle of the floor, we started dancing to Hot N Cold by Katy Perry when all of a sudden a slow song came on, Me and you by the Life House to be exact. He looked at me as if he asking 'Shall we?' I gently nodded my head & we slowly move towards each over. Nick placed his hands around my waist as I placed mine around his neck. Last time I slow dance with someone was with Taylor, which was also the night I feel pregnant. It did feel kind of weird at first but then... I don't know what happened. I just looked into Nicks brown eyes & it just felt like all my worries went away & we were the only two people in the whole world.
"Selena there has been something I wanted to ask you?" Nick gently said.
"What that?" I asked, feeling like I couldn't speak.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" I was about to answer when I was snapped back into reality, When I saw him to be exactly.
"Taylor?" I said with watery eyes.
