  • @MyCherryDarling Simply put, there are more Chicago residents hating their own city, than New Yorkers hating their own city. While downtown and some of the nicer areas in Chicago are experiencing large influxes of people, there are many neighborhoods all over the city where people seem to want to move out. There is this ominous vibe in Chicago that people are getting stressed out and want to leave. New York really does not have any of that. NYC has been growing...its at 8.2 million now

  • @MyCherryDarling The reason I say that is because NYC is by far the most active city in the US. Millions take mass transit, neighborhoods all over the city are teeming with people, shops and restaurants, nightlife is so plentiful...and most importantly, New York is one of the safest large cities in the US. The city has an amazing amount of human capital and creative environment that attracts the brightest people in all fields/areas. Chicago has SOME of that...but lacks the punch that NYC has.

  • @MyCherryDarling While Chicago is one of the best cities in the world for what it offers, I don't think it beats New York on any serious level. NYC is the standout city of the US. Due to the relatively high density of NYC, many areas of the city are teeming with activities with many stores, restaurants and nightlife. Brooklyn alone is very impressive, let alone the entire NYC. Chicago is much more chilled out and not as active. In fact, Chicago as a whole is more boring and depressing than NYC

  • Chicago looks much better than NYC, day or night

  • new your should be replaced by chicago

  • @MyCherryDarling Amen. New York = The Apple in Decay. Always love flying into and out of Chicago, what a view! Seattle waves at ya!

  • @ChicagoSucksAss

You New Yorkers seem to like blowing smoke up your own ass. You have no grounds for the comment you wrote. Chicago is one of the most diverse cities in the world. We have something for everyone here and we're broad minded and constantly growing. That is why people like to live and travel here. So before you judge you should come here and grow a little.

  • ...you were on the same flight as awesomedan157 :P
