Bolivian President Evo Morales has been caught on camera apparently kneeing an opponent in the groin during a football game.

The kick, which came after the president had been fouled, happened during a friendly match against a team led by the mayor of La Paz.

The opposing player and one of Mr Morales' bodyguards were both sent off.

Reports say police tried to arrest the opposition player at the end of the match before the mayor intervened.

Evo Morales led out a team of his governing Movement towards Socialism (Mas) party against the opposition Movement Without Fear (MSM) led by the mayor of La Paz, Luis Revilla.

The match was a friendly to inaugurate a new football field in Pa Paz, Bolivia's political capital.

  • The video about Morales is too short. He kicked that player because just few seconds early that yellow shirt stepped Morales on the foot! On purpose! See, the yellow shirt is from the team of a political enemy of Morales, I'm talking about Luis Revilla, mayor of La Paz (and former friend of Morales, now turned into the "dark side"). Plus, few seconds later, a bodyguard of the President Morales also hit that guy while it was on ground:"don't mess with my President, idiot, wanna die?"

  • @RomaniaTricolor Thanks for providing the full background to the story.

  • @brettyboy424242 Take a look at your own australian politicians supporting "the nwo". Those are cowards.

Maybe the australians need an aboriginal, top politician, too.

    :)

  • @RomaniaTricolor You can defend him all you like - the video camera does not lie. Regardless of what happened prior to this incident, it is an act of cowardice for anyone to kick a man in the groin when he's not expecting it. Why didn't Morales deal with it like a man and challenge the guy? A punch in the face would have been an honourable way to deal with it, but Morales, like most politicians, is an opportunistic, cowardly thug. If he were faced with a man-to-man fight, he'd turn to jelly.
