I'd never heard this before until yesterday when they played about a ten second clip of three different songs on a quiz show on the radio and you had to name the connection between the songs and this was one of the songs. Love it. Thank god for radio 4.

I grew up in Bangladesh and English was a dreadful subject in school for me. When I heard the song first, you know English was difficult to me then, and ABBA got a further twist in that, I rushed to find the lyrics! Outward bound pushed around reff..eugee and the rhythm got me like the the song in the first instance! That was in 1978? Can our next gen have another ABBA for them?

If you notice a lot of their songs after a few years is about the hardships of their lives and the demands of their time AND the toll it takes/took in their personal and professional lives. It is almost as if they were telling us what was going on with them and we can understand why they broke up and they would rather not deal with one another as a group anymore.

This is such an amazing song. It's so very different from the rest of ABBA's work, but it's fantastic nevertheless. One of their best songs imo.
