you may be right about this guy making a video to set up the scientist,,i dont know, but what i do know is the scientists who have been tweaking the data did no good service to science. when people defend the tweaking of information then that puts them jeopardy of being looked upon as a lap dog,,,and for what,,,let the data speak for itself, why tweak the truth

this video purposefully distorts the perception and reality of the viewer. if you want to discuss global warming do it on a serious level. there have been mistakes, people have been lying to us but this is not the way to treat the scientists or you, the viewer, by making you think that you're yet again the victim of the cruel system.

this is how conspiracy theorists work, don't let them fool you with realities YOU wish there were true. instead, do your own research.

i already said that i'm not defending the scientist!

but as a "journalist" you cannot make a video like that saying that in an official press conference one of the leading scientists refused to answer a simple question because he has something to hide (even calling security) and then he concludes that this is the way unconvenient questions are handled. this video was shot to make you believe that those scientest are cruel vicious bastereds and that all these scientists are the BAD GUYS.

if the data that was used to prove global warming was tweaked to prove it, and the scientists who were duped say that it doesnt matter, does that make me a person that, using simple logic, is wrong to believe that a full investigation is in order, or, in the eyes of said scientists, just make me a person that would believe in bigfoot because a guy in a monkey suit had his picture taken ?

so Phelim McAleer cut out the first part to make it appear as Schneider got asked this one particular question and lost his temper causing him to call security on McAleer. after the conference he had an official interview with Olivia Zaleski in which he addressed this incident and the climategate issue.

i'm not defending the scientist here, i'm just trying to tell you that you are making a big mistake by falling for conspiracy theory propaganda.

i'm sorry to say that hellorodney but stop believing everything you see before checking AT LEAST two or three other news sources. you make yourself vulnerable to misinformation and conspiracy theories by listening to intentionally filtered news coverage.

many other news sources report that before he was stopped by security Phelim McAleer interrupted the professor and assaulted him verbaly multiple times even tho this was only a press conference for Stephen Schneider to promote his new book.
