This is featured in the "Fifty Shades of Grey Classical Album"? What in the world? Trying to class up puerile filth with something beautiful? I notice they also decided to include "Bach: Goldberg Variation – Aria (Maria Tipo)". These trashy people are without honor and basic dignity.

"The aim and final reason of all music should be none else but the glory of God and refreshing the soul. Where this is not observed there will be no music, but only a devilish hubbub." - Johann Sebastian Bach

When they take me off life support, I want this to be playing by my bedside.

According to Dante's Inferno, there's a special level in hell for those who abuse art. "Oh Highest Wisdom, . . .How justly does your power make awards."

If there's a heaven - they'll be playing this in reception.

Well this is very dogmatic and pompous. I need no God to appreciate the beauty in this piece.

Get off your high horse, teenwolftoo. However people discover great music, better for them to hear it that way than not at all. Is it a bad book? Sure. But how do you go from that to "These trashy people are without honor and basic dignity?" I swear to God, as much as I love classical music, if I read one more comments section with people tripping over each other to establish their superior taste I'm going to hurl. At least *you're* up front with your disdain for large swaths of your fellow man.

    Just so!

To say that it matters how people discover and enjoy music would be to say that it matters how to eat a pie and that eating a pie after reading a notoriously bad book will make the pie taste worse or, worse still, should exempt you from eating pie at all. All of that, simply, because you read that terrible book. It's ridicolous to say that it matters how people find out about music.

Music isn't for the glory of anything, especially not for a being who is incompetent or malevolent.

Here, let me help you off of your exuberantly high horse.

What does it matter the path through which people discover this music? As long as an appreciation of the music is felt.

Please don't make classical music exclusive. Please, don't be banal.
