Experimental tests of using rendered cloth simulations to make realistic fluid motions. I hope to at one point create a system that will combine several animated normal maps a correct intervals when acted on by collisions with other objects, to produce a low poly, realistic, fluid sim appearance in realtime.

  • @enjoiskate11

It works using normal maps, so no.

  • Does it actually move up and down w/ displacement or is that look just simulated

Track "Punishment" from the Bully soundtrack.

  • What song is this?

  • wow, looks great, and it would work awesome if inplemented in Games!

  • This reminds me of the cool 'fluid' system they used in Rayman 3. I wonder how they did that. Could you try making something similar?

  • Cool! A normal map fluid sim. That would be great. No baking.

  • O.O

    Beautiful.
