@rocky989871 Take a look at the Jensen Steam engine Factory web site. Lots of good information, in addition to engines and parts for sale. Also PM Research online and on ebay.

We used to use fine green sand,dry,with linseed oil as the bonding agent,worked exceptionaly well,gives a very fine finish.

Yes, I'm going to try to make some oil bonded sand now that I have made a muller. I think I will try smokeless two stroke engine oil in the mix. I like the idea that it doesn't dry out or freeze in storage.
