GM - Opel: Germany criticises US after Opel talks fall through

GM cares since Opel is it's technology generator. In fact any compact to mid-size GM car or SUV including modern Chevy and Saab are built out an Opel model. All GM has without Opel is nice but substandard fullsize trucks.

Wenn die Bundesregierung mit Steuergeldern Risiken abdecke, "dann müssen wir wissen, wo das gegenüberliegende Ufer ist".

Die deutsche Seite müsse im Falle eines Überbrückungskredits für Opel erfahren, "wem das Konto gehört und wo das Konto liegt".

Drittens müsse bilateral mit dem US-Finanzministerium geklärt werden, auf welchem Wege das Ausfallrisiko der deutschen Staatsgarantien durch Sicherheiten"so gering wie möglich"ausfallen könne.
