@TheBlanco951 If he has stated that masturbation is all right than he is contradicting himself. There are quotes from him(and I think an article) where he claims that a man who isn't in the presence of his wife while masturbating is guilty of homosexuality. Don't believe me? Do a search on Driscoll, masturbation and homosexuality.
Just for the record, I don't think that masturbation is wrong whether you are alone or with a partner.

the one thing that bothers me the most about of his sermons is where he talks about masterbation. he says its ok. but i feel like it is not.

@reinwitgsus I don't mean to be a cruel naysayer, but are you suggesting that you never sin anymore? If so, I think--if you'll pardon me for saying so, you're lying. If not, then how do you measure your sins as less than a person who "[makes] a habit" of theirs?--> James 2:10

@jairedgros Do you mind me asking what your faith is?

I am not saying that a pastor of a church should rain down fearful teaching all the time. However, if addressing sin, people need to know that GOD HATES SIN! If speaking about forgiving, then people should know that genuine repentance is accompanied by GOD be just to forgive! Preaching every topic with the grace and love of GOD is what causes lukewarm behavior in my humble opinion. It's almost like creating a false savior and leaving out all the commands to be holy is holy.

Ya know... I've found some of this pastor's vids somewhat good at times. But I can't help but say that the Children of God are lukewarm because sermons have become about funny-feel good humorous satire instead of the heart wrenching sword of GOD being used to show the truth. Do we think that the apostles or Christ would answer questions and preach with opinion and story telling to back up their doctrine? Or would they say "AS IT IS WRITTEN" and that "Man should live by EVERY word of GOD"

@jairedgros Sin is the transgression of the law as stated in James. All of Gods Commandments/Laws/Edicts are to be followed until they are fulfilled, for none are done away with. The Lord has given many laws/commandments/edicts. Far more then ten.

Ignorance abounds. Adultery is so horrible, but the first 4 Commandments are 'done away with'? Christianity is Gnosticism. Being IN the Covenant means you OBEY the Covenant. Christians have no idea what the definition of 'sin' is. SIN = BREAKING THE COVENANT(10 Commandments, not 2 or 1, or 6, but TEN)

Here is a little secret: CHRISTIAN = LUKEWARM
Lukewarm is the DEFINITION of being a 'Christian'.
Wow, more debating, what a shocker. You people are acting like the world.

If a Christian is still making a habit of sinning, they are simply operating as a "Lukewarm" one. Once they die to the flesh, they will be on fire and Never want to return to that lukewarm state! it happened to me! If you walk in the Spirit, you will not fulfill the desires of the flesh... It is totally worth it to operate as a Holy vessel of God!
