  • Thanks Chris--the first time I did the complete take down, it was very frustrating because the cam pin in the bolt can rotate and block the firing pin from going all the way through. I'm glad these videos are up on the web, really makes it easier to take these weapons apart.

  • You did a great job with this video!!

    Thank you very much!

The manual is very vague about dis assembly and reassembly.

I really could of used this video 6 months ago.

  • @MynameisElliott i like msar more because of the bolt locks back on the last shot ...makes reloads easier ....that charging handle is a workout...lol even a pain with an eotech on top

  • Which is better? This one or the original Styr AUG?

  • Hey Chris, what suppressor do you have on your Msar? What adapter if any did you use? Is your Msar SBR'd? I want to use a YHM Phantom QD 5.56 and to place the required phantom flash hider on my barrel, what needs to be done to have this setup? Thanks!

  • I just bought an MSAR E4 and I absolutely love the gun. I am going to sell my other ARs and buy some more E4's if I can find them. I plan on keeping mine light and fast. Iron sights only, suppressor, and a little TLR2 light/laser combo.

  • @MrFoundation0

actually the record in our company was about 48 sec.. but i have no video proof.

  • that´s the way u have to treat your Steyr...

I have to admit that I do not have any first hand knowledge about putting a can on a bullpup. However, I've been told both by friends and online that it's a bit of a waste of a tax stamp and a can. That said, I am not sure if that is because since the action is by the ear that it is still loud to the operator, or if it actually is functionally/mechanically less effective to put a suppressor on a bullpup. ::shrug::

  • I had just Bought this weapon and its amazing!!! I have been tryin to break down the rifle and all i can do is take out the barrel and the butt and tirgger pad. i have been pullen and the reciever will not come out??? i have pushed the button all the way to the right side i belive and it still will not break down!!! is there anyway to loosen or something??? i dont want to force it cuz then i would be doing it wrong??? Awsome rifle im trying to make it my patrol rifle!!!

  • @soldierfalcon Placing a suppressor on a bullpup is a loss in effectiveness ? Kind of like saying a muffler will work on a 350 cid Camaro but wont work on a Volkswagen with the same engine. I see no LOGIC in your ASSUMPTION. A bullpup will be louder to the operator unsuppressed simply because the muzzle is closer to the shooters face. The same holds true with a suppressed weapon of any make or caliber. I hope you have researched and realized the error in your statements by now. Happy shooting .

  • @soldierfalcon Mind explaining why? I don't see how it can be but I'm curious as to why you think it is less effective.
