Synesthesia is the result of a final project for Computer Science 171 at Harvard University.

Synesthesia uses the Echo Nest Developer API, Python, and OpenGL to visualize music in an informative and aesthetically pleasing way.

Synesthesia was written by Brett Harrison.

  • That's great. For classical music it would be EVEN BETTER if you programmed it to identify the keys of the piece by making statistical analyses of the frequencies and analyzing the file beforehand.
