Commissioned as part of BBC Radio Manchester's 40x40 project, forty bands were allocated a different year from the past forty years that BBC Manchester has been on air. With that year came a hit single with a Manchester connection. In the case of Louis Barabbas & The Bedlam Six, the year was 1993 and the song was "Relight My Fire" by Take That and Lulu (originally written by Dan Hartman). This video was made in a spirit of "well why not" to accompany this uncharacteristic cover. It was filmed after photography had been completed on Becca & The Broken Biscuits "Train Driver" promo (released on Debt Records) and shot in the Bedlam Six's local bar.
Video directed by Joe Mannion.
Thanks to all who came down to drink with us and work on this piece of silliness.
