Fantasic version from one of the greatest artists ever out of Jamaica. I was fortunate to have met him in London's West End in one of the record shops. Great guy there was no airs and graces about him so humble. Alton Ellis is the history of Ska, Rocksteady & Reggae rolled in one R.I.P

@Marcus538 Very true. What is almost always boils down to it the big companies trying to turn a profit at the expense of artists'. I usually love hearing songs being remade. Sometimes they're better than the originals, and even to just hear their interpretation of it. Music has been around since the beginning of time, yet only in the last hundred years has it become an "industry".

@JuiceManuce that used to happen in jazz too with singers doing verisons of same song, in uk record companies are bleeting because of downloading what they forget is how much of music they stole and the performers never got a penny, some great musciians neevr got much for mega hits especially black ones, its not a black white thing, its a talent/robbing ting

The great Alton Ellis, need I say more. And yes it is shame that we lost him but our loss is the good Lords gain.
