Dave Grohl has a message for BIMM musicians. We caught up with him at last nights NME Awards, where the Foo Fighters capped off Dave Grohl's Godlike Genius award by playing a mammoth 22-song set that featured a collaboration with Roger Daltrey, their new album 'Wasting Light' in its entirety as well as a batch of their greatest hits. Nice!

  • @iccasbelle (Not sure if I got this right, been a while since I recited it :P ) Starting with the Cert HE in Professional Musicianship as part of the 3-year BA (Hons) degree starting this September.

  • @FakeMessiah94 ps this is SupperDragone666 forgot i was signed into my bands page. :/

hope you have a good time @ bimm though mate which year are you starting?? Diploma?

  • @FakeMessiah94 Dont get me wrong i dont regret it for one minute the tutors are amazing,i loved how practical the lessons were + Brighton is an awesome place to study music. The best way for me to describe how i felt about going from diploma to pro diploma was its basically the same thing 10bpm faster, it was the same as my first year but a very little bit harder! but that was a couple of years ago so it may be a lil different now? i just expected there to be a bit more of a leap in difficulty!

  • @SuperDragone666 Why would you say it was a disappointment? I'm looking at starting in September for drums, been down a few times and I liked the vibe, tutors, area and facilities, though their courses do sound very practical based which is kinda what I was looking for. Just want to get more of a insight into it. Bit late for me to change my options now but just good to get some info :)

  • @MsCLARKSON10 heya depends what area of study you are thinking of going? i did drums on diploma 1st and second year, first year was amazing, teachers were amazing lessons were amazing, however it was a bitter disappointment. still no regrets and the level of the tutors is amazing, the teachers there are what makes the college!

  • @MsCLARKSON10 You'd be better off applying to leeds college of music, or falmouth arts university. Its a lot of money for no recording or rehearsal facilities. The other courses are very much more academic also.

  • I love him!

  • i love him

  • @TheBathroomBusker i got 100% in my audition :)

i got it all cleared up now, they sent me the forms and i sent them away today......best of luck with the songwriting course dude :)
