@fatzo49 That is a video I found on youtube. It's credited in at the end of this docu but I really wish I would have written down the channel. Just type in something like "horse and dogs through field" and cross reference with "running." You'll find it eventually. That is of course if the channel hasn't been deleted by the user or something.

I really love this documentary series..I really do..I think it's well edited and holds a lot of tension and plenty of helpful information..but if you continue to murder the French language I think I shall have puncture my eardrums with a knitting needle..

You are making the situation for the worlds wolf population even worse. Only a starving or injured wolf would attack a human in a pack or alone. I know wolves well. Now a wolf/dog hybrid is another story. The facial attack says it all. That was a feral dog maybe interbred with wolves. Feral dogs attack just to kill and maim. They target women and children whom they perceive as weak and easy prey. Those were dogs gone bad NOT wolves. Or serial killers said to be wolves.

I seriously doubt le bete de Gevaudan was really a wolf. Many of the victims were sexually assaulted, then mutilated, not unlike the Jack the Ripper killings. One would think it was just a crazy person, but that completely disregards eyewitness descriptions. This leaves, in my eyes, only two possibilities. Man and beast working in tandem as separate beings, or in the same body as an honest to goodness Loup Garou, which is the least likely.

There is just one ting i don't understand, wolfs don't normal attack humans?

Rabies infected wolfs maybe, but they don't survive for more then 9-10 days due to the disease ...
