  • ALso whats the best way to record your voice onto the computer? Do I need to spend alot of money on a mic or???????????

  • I use sound forge..right now..but I would recommend getting a good sound card, cu base, pro tools, or Garage band Etc. if your going to be doing allot of vocal stuff..then you can use reason to do all the music stuff and then bounce your reason tracks or Rewire them to the appropriate recording program..Reason was not made to handle recording vocals..its main purpose is the be a Music Sequencer+ a bit more

    Thanks for the feedback

  • i can't get recycle to manipulate pitch/tempo independently. whenever i make the pitch higher, it goes faster, and tempo has no effect. any suggestions?

  • Try using the transpose feature on the rex player..I suspect you are not creating a fully featured .rex file in recycle...this could be why you are not able to affect those parameters independently.

  • that just sounded like too much... well... everything.

  • "Go forth! . ." Liked when you said that

That's a really cool tip- thanks

  • End result sounds awesome

  • transformers desktop for the win :P

  • In the other Case, the "preview" button, uses more CPU capacities to represent the sound in the most best quality.

Maybe there are differences betwenn those buttons, which are only recogniceable during the production of "stuttering welcomed" sounds.

A very inspiring TuT, which have had let me grown 3 grey hairs during copying it, because I always hit the "preview" Button instead the "add to track" Button.

Thanks... and let me know, whether you have make something like my described experience.

  • I´ve noticed, that this TUT doesn´t work, when you hit the "PREVIEW" Button on the Rex after exporting the Recycle File.

Just "Adding to track" will cause this "stuttering" effect.

My only explanation for that phenomena is, that for the "preview" another algorithm is responsible, as for the "add to track" feature.

When you "add to track", the slices will be handled at simple MIDI Data´s.

  • I think its my cell phone going off in the other room..which is actually plays sample from the video game jOust!!

  • i was also wondering what this was..

  • thank you for all your tips dude really helpful... keep posting them.

  • thank you. also, what is that "vooOOOOOIII" sound at 3:02. i'm just curious. heh.
