Can I preload my maps and use it in "offline" mode to save the costs?

(I had this option on my Nokia C7-00 and I'd like to have it again, it is very useful!)

i am using nokia N97 Mini i am Garmin on nokia using offline i m so happy :) not bad lah..... i love nokia very much more then samsung most of the samsung map using data n Gps :(

i dont like the lag of nokia map

not sure about lumia but symbian has public transport software made by nokia what shows closest bus and tram stops and even shows timetable for those.
