@MrFrodo1066 I'm from Alabama and we have a big crawdaddy boil every season. I moved up North for college and nobody had ever even heard of a crawdaddy (OR a crawdad, crawfish or crayfish -- I tried). One of the many reasons I moved back here when I graduated. I have family in New Orleans, and we make a pretty darn good imitation in Alabama but nothin could be better than the crawdaddies I had in Louisiana! Y'all are doing it right.

@iceburg506 No they taste more like a cross between lobster and shrimp with the texture being slightly tougher than stir fried shrimp. But when they are boiled cajun style they take on a taste of their own, Its smokey and salty and savory and its an edible experience I live for. Here in Iowa you can find good a crawdaddy boil anywhere and that makes me sad cause my mama used to do that every summer, but if you get you a chance to try it, jump on it and relish it.

just juice....some people like the yellow crawfish 'fat', but mainly juice...and

damn that shit look good. its hard to get good crawfish here in atlanta. the ones here are half the size of louisiana crawfish. i try to make it down there once a year and pig out.
