This animation project for my Motion Studies class is essentially my first real animation project. The goal was to create a minimum five-second, loopable animation sequence depicting deep space using various depth cues. We also needed to incorporate sound, so I've got a basic background music track, and a couple very basic royalty-free sound effects I found online.
Great work there Merck! Now do you have any footnotes as to what the design idea behind this is? Like how do you coordinate sound and motion?

Well, I already had the sound effects on my flash drive when I was working on the editing, so they were last minute additions. All it took then was to import them into Adobe Premiere and synchronize the sound with the action on the timeline; I didn't know much about the sound editing part, so I left the sounds pretty much untouched overall. My next project was a little bit more in-depth.

Good job Merck
The sound effects will give me nightmares for weeks though -_-

Haha, yeah, I actually had them left over from another project last year with a different purpose, and figured I'd just use them here. I could have easily done the video without soundeffects, but I wanted to try a little more of the sound-editing and timing options with this video.
