train 1- CSX Q119-23. led by CSX ES44DC 5465. got a blast from the engineer.

train 2- NS [Unknown ID] manifest passes over South Main street just outside the village.

train 3- The shot of the night...CSX train Q271 passes the horses on Railroad Avenue.

train 4- CSX train Q157 passes the new crossing. note the new signal box and new crossings....and the E-bell. [Boo!]

train 5- My fav train...CSX Q390 slides through Angola to a setting sun and a dying battery.

    Great, great, great! The shot of Q271 looks like the opening of a commercial ("how tomorrow moves"!). That is a cool sunset through the trees, too. And I agree with you... I'm not a big e-bell fan. I know they require less maintenance, but a mechanical bell just somehow sounds more "authentic".

  • I don't really like them. It's to uniform. the bell that used to be on the gates was loud and always offa beat.
