Random people are asked to play a Stradivarius violin. The individual footage was then cut based on simple sounds and spliced back together to form music.

  • This is so unusual... It's either perfect art or absolute madness.

  • Somebody should honor this video. I see dumb videos getting honored like 22 some odd times and they aren't anything but unprofessional video shot on a cellphone and a kid screaming over something stupid like myspace ((New german kid reference)) I could easily see how you could've spend hours on your creation... yet you get no honors. Great video.

  • this is sweet

  • this is probably what it's like being inside mozart's brain. great video.

  • this is the theme song for Requiem of a dream one of my most favorite songs of all time i think this ( Stradivarius Project ) was in Guinness i give you major props for this by far thank you for taking something that's so horrendous an making it in to a work of art. even if it is not a true Stradivarius the concept of this project was fascinating

  • A very good Italian instrument (like a Strad) even when played by people who can't play at all screams like a terrified baby when the bow touches the strings in any but the right way because these instruments are full of overtones and you would even hear this in the video. Anyway: who said that this is a Stradivari made in Italy ?

  • ha!!!

this is the music for "adams requiem"! freaky performance for a freaky movie!

  • ah ah! Très drôle, mais ce n'est pas un srtadivarius...ouff!!

  • The finished product is rather haunting . . . And yes, I think we all now realize that that is not a Strad.

  • Why would someone lend a legendary instrument to people on the street?????????????????
