I hate this guy. I really do. This was my sixth attempt at fighting him. All the other times, I either made bad choices (2 battles) while the rest I was simply screwed from the start, like him having a super fast and strong Pokemon that could outrun anything I threw at him and kill instantly. It sucked.

Anyway, finally. The final symbol I needed to obtain before I defeated each of the Frontier Brains at least once. Now that I have all the Silver Prints, I can finally get over my stupid "NO I MUST GET ALL THE SILVER PRINTS FIRST" stage and get right on to the color prints now.

Anyway, some details about the battle. Yeah, I knew Poison Fang wouldn't be too effective, but I wanted to Badly Poison Dusknoir since it is bulked on defense. Once it used Fling and it did that much damage, I thought "screw it, I'll try what I can to just damage him." Kinda glad I didn't poison him, though.

And with the Dodrio using Acupressure a whole lot: As you may have guessed, I was doing it to stall for time. Dusknoir used his only damaging move of Fling on Golbat, so Shadow Punch would be useless against the Flying/Normal type Pokemon. I didn't want to take Dusknoir down right away with the Trick Room still in effect because that means I would've been slower than the Pokemon following Dusknoir (which would've been Jynx) and it could have cost me the battle. Plus getting some bonus stats in attack to make up for the Burn was pretty handy as well. I can't believe I never had to use my final Pokemon.

Alright, all Silver Prints are finally obtained, Thorton being that final wall. Time to record battles of me getting the color prints! And you can bet your ass I'll be fighting the Battle Factory last again!

  • Hey what's the video recorder , 3 slots ? Is it able to save more den one battle tower video ?

  • @Chocogurux3 Those slots are where you save battle videos that you like from online. That way, you don't have to be connected to the internet to view them. They can be your own videos re-downloaded for future viewing, or they can be someone else's video that has a battle strategy you really like and want to review later.

Either way, it can only be used by having internet access with your game. If you don't have them, you can't use them.

  • what happens when you turn off the DS when you've lost a battle?

can you lost ALL of your saved data? or only the battles of that set of 7battles?

(it's difficult to mantain a streak)

  • @lalopikachu As you may have noticed, the game saves before every single attempt you make at the Battle Frontier. To just quit would essentially count as a loss and the game will recognize it. You'll then be forced to start your whole streak over from the very start. This is the game's way of making sure nobody, for lack of better terms, pussies their way through the Battle Frontier. It is either go big or go home.

  • You should of evolved all your pokemon.

  • @dragonsalty Never played the Battle Factory, have you? Those Pokemon aren't my own: They're rentals meant specifically for the Battle Factory. You pick three to choose from in the start and every battle you win, you can switch one of the Pokemon the opponent used for one of your own. So I couldn't evolve them, even if I wanted to. Once the streak was over, I had to return the rental Pokemon.

  • the ambipoms they have there are beast :P

  • ha! i have that same phase too where you have to get all the silver prints first

  • lol i was blessed with my first 7 battles, i rented myself a technician scizor with bullet punch, x-scissor, swords dance, and baton pass. he'd steam roll through at least one of the pokemon, but most of the time, he'd completley walk all over two or three. if he was in a tight spot, he could simply baton pass swords dance off to gallade or (after a lot of trading) steelix, and it worked out rather well. scizor is a beast, i think i'll ev train one for myself and use him on the battle tower :3

  • why the thorthon use the jynx

  • That Dodrio was a beast!

  • @o94ght Nope, I mean Starmie. Swampert only defeated Registeel and died because Luxray had Energy Ball, Shiftry died in one hit, so two were left for Starmie - two of which were electric types. High speed + Surf + a miracle = win!

  • @Garchompking555 Dont you mean you were lucky to have swampert not starmie.
