@luckymckay21 how did he have a great impact on society? He hiked the deficit to $9 TRILLION, started two wars to which there was no exit strategy. Lied to the American people about why we went to those countries in the first place. Gave tax breaks to the rich thinking somehow trickle down economics really works. And extended the power of the Executive Branch to an unprecedented level.

Bush is much smarter then people give him credit for. He managed to forge the most profound foreign policy since the Truman doctrine. Love him or hate him, Bush has had more of an impact on American society then most other Presidents preceding him. Popularity does not make a president great. Lincoln, Reagon, FDR, Bush, etc... were all highly unpopular and even hated by many Americans throughout their presidencies.
