  • So I imagine that the recumbant bikes are more comfortable but how are they as far as speed goes. I imagine it screams down hills but uphills must be near impossible. Also, the tires usually aren't the full 26' or 700. BTW, the 75 km/h is extremely impressive.

    Full size wheels on my m5 (700c). It also came with a 650c wheel and front fork. With the 650c, the overall wt of the bike is lighter than with the 700c. This bike can scream down hill very fast. max speed I have achieved on the bike was 85km/hr. It could go faster but I chickened out.
