great review, would you recommend this cooling-pad for $30 or the coolermaser X-Slim for $20? I am looking for something that would be the best option for cooling my laptop as it overheated and restarted quite a bit of times while i was doing my renders.

I am also aiming more towards the X-slim because of portability and the $10 less. Let me know what you would recommend. Thanks.

@akthe21 i dont know enough about the x-slim to be able to recommend one over the other. But i can say that this laptop cooler does the job really well.

@andrewesquivel ok i see, though if you were to look at specs alone, would you say that the one you reviewed is worth the extra $10? Just debating about which one to get.

@akthe21 the x slim has better air flow and is thinner. It would be a good buy over the thermaltake massive if you need portability.

I would use an external power adapter and not use the laptop's power for that fan, so I would not use up too much power from the laptop specially when gaming.
