  • Someone should tell the chick on the chest press machine to stop using her neck so much when she presses. Also fat has no metabolic rate, because it is a form of stored energy. Your metabolic rate has to do with a combination of hormones, overall muscle mass, and activity level. What a lot of people should know is that circuit strength training is actually more effective than cardio at fat burning too. But yes; strength training is the most important component of your workout.
