A short clip of a flooded street in Amman taken on October 6, 2009. This was near the intersection of Gardens Street and Wadi Saqra. There were so many vehicles going through the intersection that it was causing waves! It sounded like water lapping against the side of a boat. I'm surprised I didn't see any cars stalled out!
This is ridiculous, heavy rain in Ammān is very common; why not fix the streets to adjust to this?

It's always like that in jordan man. I don't understand why they don't take care of this. I have been there 3 times and every time rains 5 to 10 minutes the roads become lakes.
