I had a co-worker who did a hilarious impression of Walter Matthau's end speech with the whole "That's right Mrs. Lampert, I'm a dead man". Still cracks me up thinking about it.

@Lengo67 You forgot the whole soundtrack for Victor or Victoria how could you!!

I love the title sequence of Charade. it's very mystified.

@primogennaio Catch Me If You Can (2002) even has a 60s style title sequence. Down with Love (2003) - but yes these are rare exceptions and rather hommages to the 60s.

Henri Mancini was fantastic.

He sure was. He has written numerous popular songs, most of which were film scores. He wrote The Pink Panther theme, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Baby Elephant Walk, Mr. Lucky, The love theme from Romeo and Juliet, and many others. He's one of america's greats, and ranks right up there with Irving Berlin and George and Ira Gershwin.

@prep909 Yeah, I really like the emphasis on the back beat with the drummer's hi-hats. And the tune itself just flows along. They don't write 'em like this no more.
