Jordan Yamoah of Arlington High School breaks the New York pole vault record by clearing 17ft 1in. He did so at Archbishop Molloy High School's Stanner Games in the Armory in Manhattan. His jump was also a record for any athlete in the Armory.

  • I don't think it's the highest jump by any athlete in the Armory..Renaud Lavillenie jumped 5.70 there a few years ago.

  • Dudes ill! I competed with him and actually beat him last year, because he like no heighted at states haha. But he's just blowing up since breaking the outdoor state record with 16'6 and he's probably gunna beat it again. Big future!
