Flashing Face [Ukulele Original]

I wrote this a random day in November (National Novel Writing Month) after meeting up with a friend. I was in a very thinky mood (most people read as: contemplative). With the approach of turning 20, these were many of my thoughts. The ending is a bit abrupt but this is one of my first versions - I never got to more before my laptop died. :P

This is one of my 'trio' songs - I wrote one about Growing Up, Self and Time. This is the Growing Up song.

Random videos I took from my Uni campus. Whiteknights lake. I love my campus. Even though it seems I'm drawn to schools that have artificial ponds/lakes.

It's four o'clock this evening,
I've just seen a friend today.
I could work to be productive
But we know I want to play.

I did do the NaNoWriMo challenge! :) I do it every year. One my first, third, fourth and fifth. I love doing NaNoWriMo. I love kicking out the inner censor and just shooting out the words - with my average WPM, it isn't too tricky for me.

Sure thing! I normally do post lyrics but have forgotten to do that with these last songs! Thought of that yesterday. Thanks for the reminder!
