Out of the players you just mentioned id only have cahill, ivanovic, mata and sturridge and obviously City made amistake ingetting ridof bellamy since he tore them a new arsehole in the carling cup. Drogba is slow and past it now, fine afew years ago he was the best in the world, he isnt anymore. Im talking about now and currently, bellamy is better than drogba. Terry is shit and slow, Cahill is good fair enough but Agger and Skrtel have the 2nd best defence in the league, they're obviously the better pair. Bellamy would go into your team ahead of Drogba, he's past it now which is a shame to say. Yeah mata and sturridge are brilllaint but suarez is better than both, you're so biased you cant see reason.

It may be the least competition teams want to win, but it serves a purpose for tons of things:
1. It's part of the trophy cabinet.
2. To break a winning trophy drought.
3. A momentum booster for more success down the road (i.e. Manchester United winning the 2006 Carling Cup, went on to win four EPL titles in the last 5 years, 2008 UEFA Champions League, 5 FA Community Shields, 2009 Carling Cup, 2008 FIFA Club World Cup).
