Some brainless atheists regard matter as independent and imagine that it has itself gained this freedom and elaborated the laws that rule over it.

But how can they believe that hydrogen and oxygen, electrons and protons, should first produce themselves, then be the source for all other beings, and finally decree the laws that regulate themselves and the rest of the material world?

@1tabligh For your first question: No because matter doesn't create, it reacts and arranges according to the four forces of nature. For your second: matter is energy and energy is infinite, the casimir effect proves it, matter didn't form as atoms, it formed as subatomic particle which arranged themselves into hydrogen atoms and eventually stars where the force of gravity forced the atoms to fuse into more and more dense atoms like helium, beryllium, the rest of the periodic table.

@chaorrottai How could some of the scientists permit themselves to make a claim that would necessitate knowledge as extensive as the scheme of the universe, when their knowledge of the total scheme of being is *close* to zero, when confronted with a whole mass of unknowns concerning this very earth and tangible, lifeless matter, let alone the whole universe?

@1tabligh lol that's like saying "If the theory that dinosaurs were once alive is dropped, in light of scientific research, how can they explain where dinosaur bones come from?" or "Pretend that everything you know is wrong and everything thing I know is right. Logically from that viewpoint you were wrong the whole time, therefore you should just continue viewing things my way."

Further, would there be a way for the human heart after that to shut off its eyes in the light and to overlook the clear, divine reality that trusted the secret of life to the primary cell or cells?

@1tabligh You don't understand basic cellular biology or even the very base concept of evolution, do you? Look, it's really simple, DNA tells the cells what to do and sometime a mistake happens when it gets copied or if a certain part helps the organism to survive then the mutation gets past on to future generations. Over time this can compound to make very complex systems and that's how we got to where we are now.
